Story

The Black Soybean of Tamba, Hyogo

Black soybeans flourish where the days are warm and the nights turn cool. Tamba's basin landscape, with its morning mists and dramatic seasonal temperature shifts, provides near-ideal growing conditions for black soybeans of exceptional quality.

Grown in this environment, Tamba black soybeans develop large, firm beans with a fine, smooth texture and a naturally rich, aromatic depth. They are also a recognized source of polyphenols and Vitamin E, and have been a cherished part of Japanese daily food culture for generations.

The Hojicha of Kagoshima

On the other side of Japan, Kagoshima's warm climate and volcanic Shirasu soil nurture tea leaves with a character all their own. Roasted to bring out a gentle, toasty warmth, Kagoshima hojicha carries a natural sweetness and a smooth, mellow finish that is easy to love.

Where the Two Come Together

The depth and nuttiness of Tamba black soybean, layered with the light, roasted character of Kagoshima hojicha. Each ingredient brings what the other doesn't have. The result is a blend that is both familiar and quietly surprising, a cup with balance, warmth, and an easy drinkability that keeps you coming back.
