Story
The Black Soybean of Tamba, Hyogo
Black soybeans thrive where the days are warm and the nights run cool. Tamba's basin landscape, with its morning mists and dramatic seasonal temperature shifts, creates near-ideal conditions for cultivating black soybeans of exceptional quality.
Grown in this environment, Tamba black soybeans develop large, firm beans with a fine, smooth texture and a naturally rich, aromatic depth. They are also a recognized source of polyphenols and Vitamin E, ingredients that have made black soybeans a cherished part of Japanese daily food culture for generations.
What grows slowly, with care, tastes like it.
