MOKULOCK | Japanese Wooden Building Blocks from Yamagata

MOKULOCK is a wooden building block made in Yamagata, Japan from domestically sourced wood, designed to celebrate the natural warmth and texture of real wood. Precision-crafted to fit together cleanly, it is made to be enjoyed for generations.

Children experience the world through touch far more deeply than we often realize. That's why MOKULOCK values the warmth and natural feel of real wood, using minimal coatings so children can enjoy nature just as it is.

Created in Yamagata, where rich forests meet exceptional craftsmanship, each block is made from underutilized domestic wood that might otherwise become wood chips. Up to nine native species, such as cherry, zelkova and maple, give every block its own shade, grain and scent. The brand also plants and cares for its own forest in Yamagata.

Wood is a precious gift from nature. Rather than being outgrown, MOKULOCK is meant to be passed down from child to child, shared with friends and family, and treasured for years to come.
