As a sake distribution services, we have built relationships with sake breweries across Japan. Among those connections, we encountered the "maekake". “Maekake” is an apron that symbolize sake brewing culture. Originally, it was intended to be work attire, worn by people working in sake breweries and sake shops. It was intended to serve as protective gear, shielding clothing and strengthening back support for heavy lifting. Its powerful logo and traditional design are filled with the history and charm of sake culture.
Through our sake distribution services, we have used our good connections with sake breweries and have started a special initiative to sell aprons from sake breweries from across the country. Some of the “maekake” we have obtained the right to sell are limited to the breweries, special sake stores and through our shopping platform. Please enjoy a special piece that allows you to feel the sake brewery's passion and the ambiance of sake.
