Tassel earrings inspired by the image of bamboo in motion — slender, upright, and quietly alive. Look closely at the leather and you will find a delicate bamboo pattern running through it, applied piece by piece using katazome, the stencil-dyeing technique traditionally used in kimono-making.

Bamboo grows straight and fast, bending without breaking. In Japan, it has long carried the meanings of growth, strength, integrity, and purity — qualities the plant earns simply by being what it is. A small reminder of those qualities, worn at the ear.
